The Team

Integra values all team members and their individual and shared contribution to supporting every individual to achieve their goals. We recognise our service is only as good as that given by each colleague. We invest significantly in the development of a team ethos and the quality of service provided by all staff.

The individuals we support benefit from continuity of staffing relationships and we are proud our retention of staff rates are significantly above national averages. 

All team members are supported by a local manager, our regional support office in Wales and NCG nationally. 

The Management Team

Each care home has a registered manager experienced in community-based mental health services. All of our managers hold an NVQ 4 / QCF Level 5 and many have additional qualifications on top (e.g. Institute of Leadership and Management awards). They have a combined 87 years’ experience in care and 50 years’ experience in Mental Health.

Two of our home managers have won the Gold award for Leadership in a Small Group Home or Supported Living Setting in the Welsh Care Awards.

The Regional Support Office

Our staff centrally provide a variety of support services that help Integra's overall quality of delivery. This includes central referral, assessment and admission coordination. The names, and responsibilities, of Integra's senior management team members are listed below.

Andrea O'Loughlin, Clinical Lead & Area Operations Manager

Andrea is responsible for liaison with referring and multi-disciplinary teams.  Andrea directs and leads Integra's referrals and assessments team. She is a registered nurse with many years of experience working in both hospital and community mental health services. Andrea is also responsible for ensuring Integra's central support team is coordinated effectively to support the needs of its registered managers and services. Andrea has the primary day to day responsibility for our liaison with referring and multi-disciplinary teams as well as monitoring the quality of service we provide.

Laura Austin, Regional Service Manager

Laura is the regional managers for Integra's Mid and South West Wales regions.  Laura is an experienced home manager with a long service record with Integra.

Peter Max, Regional Operations Manager and Responsible Individual

As Regional Operations Manager, Peter reports to the Chief Operating Officer of National Care Group and is responsible for the region of Wales within NCG.  Peter helps Integra continually focus on ensuring all services are delivered as well as possible in accordance with NCG's mission, values, strategy, regulations, standards and contractual requirements.

Peter is the Responsible Individual for Integra and he takes an executive lead on Integra's approach to improving continually the quality of care and service (including chairing Integra's Quality Assurance Panel).  Peter also focuses upon developing Integra's partnerships and extending the range of Integra's services to enhance Integra's support for effective care pathways and improved client outcomes. He leads the senior management team in safeguarding the sustainability of services through the effective monitoring of operational and financial delivery. 

Peter also acts as the primary liaison person, and contract manager, with commissioners and partners.

Admissions and Fees

Integra has both residential care and domiciliary care.

Our approach is person-centred, combining a mix of support and rehabilitation.

Integra welcomes referrals for men and women over 18 with a mental health diagnosis and/or an acquired brain injury. 

We have residential care, supported accommodation and outreach services in Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Neath, RCT and Swansea.
