Elm Lodge in Carmarthen registered

Today we are pleased to announce our newest care home has been registered by the CSSIW. 

• Elm Lodge is in Carmarthen. 
• The home will be for up to 6 individuals with a mental health diagnosis. 
• Like our other homes, the focus will be on supporting prospective clients to maximise their independence and quality of life within the community.
• Elm Lodge has been refurbished extensively and now has 6 ensuite bedrooms and a downstairs flat to help a client trial more independent living prior to moving on. 

Andrea O'Loughlin, Integra's Operations Director and Integra's clinician in charge of referrals and assessments, paid tribute to the success of Integra's existing home in Carmarthenshire, Ty Undeb, which has, under the leadership of Nicola Bolton and her team, done well in supporting clients to achieve positive outcomes and to reduce their dependence on paid support. 

Andrea referred to her hope that Elm Lodge would be simarly successful and that Integra was now hoping to show members of the local community mental health teams around the home now that it was registered. 

Peter Max, Integra's Managing Director, referred to how the home had been developed to help provide increased choice of residential care placements within Carmarthen itself. 

"We hope that Elm Lodge will also be successful in helping individuals to increase their confidence and quality of life, within a supportive and safe rehabilitative environment, and that this will continue to demonstrate the effectiveness of time-limited residential care placements at enabling individuals to move on to live independently within the community".
